I've got 416's in 44" high boxes with 511's sitting on top. Sadly, this arrangement is not going to work in my new location, as they would be blocking windows. I also have a pair of 811s which I could use.
I could use some ideas on how I can get to something satisfactory but not so tall as to block the windows.
Model 19s cabs might be one answer. Can anyone give me some leads as to what is out there?

Are you wanting cabinet plans to do-it-yourself, or would you like a NEW set custom finished to your specifications?

Todd,
I would be looking for something ready made, or even used, if presentable enough. Cost is a factor, and right now I haven't a clue as to what I would be looking at. I am open to suggestions.

Hi Dave,
Without regard to where the woofer opening is, is there any orientation of your existing cabinets that will fit under the windows?
If there is but it faces the woofer in a bad direction, you might consider the possibility of covering the existing woofer opening with a solid plywood panel and cutting an opening in a surface of the cabinet that allows it to fit under the window and face the right way. Just a thought.
Reuse, recycle, regards,

Dave,
Interesting suggestion, but no. It is strictly a question of height. Laying the boxes on their side would make them too wide for a TV/component cabinet to fit in between. I have about 71" from the corner to the window. My present cabs are 22" wide x 44" high.
One solution would be to get one wall unit for TV and one for the related components and locate the latter against a different wall. I think we could live with a partial blockage of the window.
Another would be Model 19 cabs, with one under the window.
